My entire life, I have always been active. Softball, volleyball, workout classes, you name it. After years of activity, I started to have knee problems. A friend introduced me to yoga and I loved it! The variety of yoga classes and the ability to modify different postures worked well for me. After a couple years, I signed up for 200hr ytt, which I completed April 2019 and have been teaching ever since.  In yoga there is no judgment, no expectations, just community and love.

What is Chair Yoga?

Chair yoga is a gentle practice in which postures are performed while seated and/or with the aid of a chair. Chair yoga classes typically target those with physical disabilities or aging men and women who find a typical yoga session too challenging. It is also a great form of yoga for beginners or anyone who wants to focus on a gentle practice.

Aspects of Chair yoga may even be incorporated into a regular Hatha yoga class, particularly to assist those with balance issues or anyone who has trouble getting down to and up off of the floor.
